Your account data and submitted reports are stored with Supabase, which provides encrypted storage and Row Level Security. Only you, and authorized administrators handling safety reports, can access your data.
We never ask for or store a password. Sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your email.
Between Us is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Welcome to Between Us. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. They keep Between Us a safe space for everyone.
Between Us is only for people aged 18 and over. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will remove it.
Between Us is voice-first and anonymous, and we take safety seriously. You agree not to post, share, or broadcast content that is:
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Violations may result in immediate removal of content and permanent termination of the account.
Every post, room, message, and profile can be reported. You can also block any user at any time, which hides their content and prevents them from contacting you. We review reports and act on objectionable content, typically within 24 hours. To report abuse or a safety concern directly, email safety@betweenuz.com.
We use a combination of user reports, automated checks, and human review to keep Between Us safe. To protect the community, we may remove content, restrict features, or terminate accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.
You are responsible for what you post and say. You keep ownership of your content, and you grant us a license to host and display it within the app so the service can function. Do not infringe the rights of others, and do not attempt to disrupt, hack, or misuse the service.
Between Us is anonymous by design. Anonymity is never an excuse to harm others. Treat everyone with respect, and do not attempt to identify, dox, or track other users.
We collect only what we need to run the app, such as your email for sign-in and the content you choose to share. We do not sell your personal data. Voice rooms are live and are not recorded by us unless this is clearly stated. For full details, see the Privacy Policy above.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use of Between Us means you accept the updated Terms. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Between Us is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it safe and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for user-generated content or for interactions between users.
