Hi, I'm Jashwanth Veeraboina, co-founder of Between Us.
Before we built anything, we spent a long time looking at how people actually talk online, and one pattern kept repeating. People think out loud in private and edit themselves in public. A name, a photo, and a follower count turn every post into a performance, so the honest version rarely gets said. We also noticed how much meaning gets lost in text. Tone, hesitation, and warmth live in a voice, not in a caption.
That is why Between Us. is voice-first and anonymous. I build it end to end, from the real-time audio behind live rooms and debates to the small details most people never notice, like how a whisper sounds the moment you press play. Those details decide whether a conversation feels safe enough to be honest.
If you have an idea, a question, or feedback, I would genuinely love to hear it.

Co-founder, Between Us.
Hi, I'm Prem Birudula, co-founder of Between Us.
The idea started with a simple question: where do people go when they want to say something real? Most social apps reward the most polished version of you. Many anonymous spaces swing the other way and become places where nobody feels responsible for what they say. We wanted something in between, a space where you can speak freely without a name attached and where safety is built in from day one.
Voice became the answer. When you hear someone, you hear the person behind the words, and we believe that makes conversations more thoughtful and more kind. That thinking shaped everything in Between Us., from whispers and live rooms to debates where two sides can actually listen to each other.
I shape what Between Us. becomes, from the ideas behind each feature to how it feels to use every day. Before anything ships, I ask one question: does this help someone be heard? If you have thoughts on where Between Us. should go next, I'd love to hear them.
